Summary

Two halves of a bisected single leaf from a 14th-century monastic Noted Breviary, containing texts and chants for the Common of the Apostles. Repurposed as a cover for the incunabulum X 637, an edition of Bindo de Senis' Aurea biblia, sive Repertorium aureum bibliorum from 1475.

Additional leaves from this manuscript were used to cover other incunabula in the collection of the Kartause Ittingen. One other is still in situ: Frauenfeld, Kantonsbibliothek Thurgau, X 637. Another two have been detached and are now preserved individually: Frauenfeld, Kantonsbibliothek Thurgau, FRG 200 and Frauenfeld, Kantonsbibliothek Thurgau, ALT FRG 117/02.
