Acquired by the Friends of the State Library of South Australia.

Contents: The opening prayer Obsecro te (incomplete) of the Hours of the Virgin Mary.

Decoration: The prayer opens with a five-line intial 'O' in gold, oval painted blue, on a quartered ground painted blue and pink decorated with white pen work. A floral spray, in gold, in the border accentuates the opening.

The text was copied in a Littera Bastarda bookhand.
