Provenance: Dunedin Public Library acquired the leaf from Alfred Reed (875 – 1975), a benefactor of the library since 1948. Reed purchased the leaf from English bookseller Alan G. Thomas had bought the partially dismembered and imperfect parent manuscript (164 leaves, several mutilated) at Sotheby's Western and Oriental Manuscripts and Miniatures sale on 6 July 1964 (lot. 246).
Rose Faunce has identified another leaf from the Book of Hours in the University of Sydney Library Rare Books and Special Collections (MS. 17).
