Summary

The Library acquired the leaf from the rare books dealership Littera Scripta, Ballarat, Victoria.

Contents The text, from the Ordo psalterii or Liturgical Psalter, starts at line 10 of Isaiah 38, continuing to feria quarta (Wednesday), breaking at Psalm 52: 1-7.

Decoration Psalm 52 opens with a three-line initial in gold, oval painted maroon, on blue ground decorated with white line work. It is attached to a bar extension painted in liquid gold, sprouting pink daisies in the top margin and acanthus tendrils and pink blossoms in the lower margin. Hymns begin with two-line initial, alternately red or blue. 29 one-line versals, alternately red or blue. Rubrics written in red in similar script as the text.
