Summary
Notated fragment of a late medieval missal, containing chants for the Sundays before Ash Wednesday. It is in situ, forming the binding of an early mordern musical manuscript (ca. 1600). The shelfmark RARA Musik L 42 consists of four such booklets. All are bound in waste parchment. The first volume's binding is made from a printed gradual (F-t0kn), and the other two have covers made from a copy of Cicero's De Natura Deorum (F-g13y and F-x06a).
