Summary

The fragment of an antiphoner contains chants with square notation on red staves. They relate to the feasts of St Paul (30 June) and Visitatio Mariae (2 July) and are mostly antiphons, but also versicles and responsories. The fragment was reused to create a binding for a paper manuscript (ca. 1600). This music booklet was likely originally one of a set of at least 12 part books, evidenced by the later addition of the titles septima vox and vndecima vox (front and back cover respectively), indicating that the booklet contains the seventh and the eleventh voice. The other booklets of this set are lost.
