Summary
Two stays made of four gothic Italian fragments. Both stays are comprised of two fragments pasted together. For the stay ranging f. 1 to f. 8, the top fragment measures 225 mm in length and the lower fragment is 95 mm. The stay ranging f. 25 to f. 32 measures 210 mm for the top fragment and 109 mm for the lower. The fragments have been used to bind an early 12th c. Hieronimi presbiteri in expositionis Danielis prophetae ms written in Central Italy or Tuscany. In a modern calf binding.
