Summary
This fragment consists of two parchment folia from a Missal, written ca. 1200–1300 in a transitional script between Carolingian minuscule and Gothic. The leaves preserve portions of the Mass Ordinary (including the Lord’s Prayer) and Prefaces for Epiphany, Lent, Marian feasts, and Apostles. Music is notated in Hufnagel neumes on red five-line staves with both “c” and “f” clefs. Rubrics and simple red initials divide the text. Portions of the margins are trimmed, cutting into the musical notation.
