The leaf fragment comes from the 15th-Century Book of Hours entitled "The St. Alexis Hours". The margins are decorated with a roundel and colorful decorative elements: acanthus leaves, rinceaux, trees, birds, and other plant elements. The recto roundel depicts Three women accompanying each other on a walk in the woods. The verso roundel is not included with the leaf. The leaf can be found in the Quaritch cat. 1036 no 28.
