Summary
Discovered in 2015 by Giuseppe Mascherpa in the Biblioteca del Seminario Vescovile of Pavia (Italy), Pv is a bifolium from the 4th quire (quires are numbered in red ink on the top margin) of a late 13th century Troubadour Chansonnier probably copied in Western Tuscany.
It was reused, along with other smaller bits of parchment, to wrap the cover of a 16th century printed book (Iohan. Pauli Balzarani Interpraetationes luculentissimae ad libros feudorum, Venetiis, apud Iuntas, 1596); it was detached from the host volume in 2016.
The fragment contains the vidas and a few poems by Guillem de Berguedan and Raimbaut d’Aurenga.
