Summary

A series of early 17th century student papers containing exercises in Danish and Latin from Herlufsholm Skole, established 1565 in Næstved, Denmark. Some exercises are dated, usually between 1624-26.

The paper sheets were originally glued together to form the paste laminate bindings of various booklets containing polyphonic music. They were taken apart in the 20th century, revealing some further fragments of incunabula and medieval manuscripts used as spine supports, which are registered separately. Some externally applied manuscript fragments still remain in situ (or rather, were put back during the rebinding process), and are also registered separately.
