Summary

Top section of a leaf containing Bede's Homilies in two columns that was folded before entering the binding of its host volume. Red rubrication on verso and decorated 4-line initial D in green with foliate decorations inside the bowl. Rubricated numeral VII in the top margin of the verso, presumably referring to the homily that begins in that page (although it is actually Homily i.10).

  • Recto: part of Homily i.9, lines 176-193 and 203-222.
  • Verso: (left column) end of Homily i.9, lines 234-249 – (right column) beginning of Homily i.10, lines 1-14.
