More about the Current Condition

A single leaf has been detached, trimmed as repurposed as a cover for one side of the binding of its host volume. The profile of this relitively small volume is still outlined by the folds of the turn-ins, once glued down to the boards.

-

The greater discolouration on the side of the leaf labelled here as the dorse indicates that this section originally faced outwards when still attached to its host volume.
