Reconstruction Summary

Partially trimmed leaf from an early-twelth-century copy of Priscian’s Institutiones grammaticae. Upper section of the text block has been excised, just like part of the outer, inner and bottom margins. Outer margin is also partially covered by a glued paper strip. Text is presented in a single column from which 25 lines remain. Most initials at the beginning of each section are filled with red ink. Similarly, two initials in orange following paraph marks, one of which is also filled-in with the same orange ink.

Text includes:

  • Recto: book: 6, p.: 220, l.: 13 - p.: 222, l.: 4
  • Verso: book: 6, p.: 217, l.: 14 - p.: 219, l.: 18
