The 30th fragment of Rudolfs von Ems's "Barlaam und Josaphat", containing vv. 10746–953 and 11331–454, is a bifolium dating back to the 13th–14th century. This text is a significant medieval German adaptation of the tale of "Barlaam und Josaphat", a Christianized version of Buddha's life story.
