Summary
A leaf of the Gottschalk Antiphonal, written and illustrated by Gottschalk of Lambach at and for the use of the Stiftsbibliothek Lambach (Upper Austria) in the late twelfth century. This leaf is consecutive and was formerly conjoint with Stiftsbibliothek St. Paul im Lavanttal Frag. 54/8, no. 1. Both were flyleaves in a Lambach incunable (a combination of Hain 7053 and 13683) that is not recorded in the 1916 Lambach incunable catalogue, and so presumably had left the Abbey by that time. The incunable was Ink. 5.4.17 in the Stiftsbibliothek St. Paul im Lavanttal; the flyleaves were removed in the late twentieth century and are now Frag. 54/8 1 and Frag. 54/8 2. ...ut cum fratribus meis.../...In principio apud deum.
