Summary

First six words "Deus qui nos patrem et matrem," last five "mane astabo tibi et videbo;" 6 binding slits on left side of recto. Office of the Dead Opening Prayers (recto); Psalm 5 (verso). Full borders of acanthus and rinceaux in gold and colors with birds in lower margin. Roundel miniatures in outer central margin of recto illustrating a man labeled "messenger" kneeling at the feat of a seated man labled "pere," possibly representing St. Alexius' father sending men to search for his son. Roundel miniature in outer central margin of verso depicting same "messenger" approaching a shrouded woman. MS2022.102 at the Cleveland Museum of Art.
