Summary

The fragment is a handwritten copy of the well-known collection of fictive example letters "Formulae Epistolarum" by Carolus Maneken (Carolus Virulus) published first 1476. Carolus Virulus was the first director of the "Collège du Lys" or Paedagogium Lilii at the Leuven University. The name of the college is often referred to in the letters. In this fragment, however, the scribe changed the original phrase "Louanii in pedagogio" to "Bononie in collegio".
