Summary
This 15th-century lectionary or missal contains a part of the Passion of Jesus Christ to be read on Palm Sunday. The text contains letters marking the narrator and the different characters. The fragment was the cover of a composite volume printed in Venice. Before Sándor Vigyázó, the volume was owned by the library of the Observant Franciscan convent in Sansepolcro. The host volume and the script type suggest that the liturgical book may have been copied in Italy, but the parchment is thicker than the materials made in Italy.
