Summary
Two leaves used as pastedowns for a 15th c. Office for the anointing of the sick ms, which was written for the sisters of St. Katherine in Nuremberg. In a 15th c. German red pigskin binding with a single clasp and 4-strand braided bookmark. Leaves with thick, black four-line staves cover the insides of the boards in their entirety. The rear pastedown shows signs that the leaf may have been discarded due to a slip of the hand when using a comb to draw the staves. A second set of fragments, F-emr8, can be seen underneath, towards the spine of the book.
