Summary
This fragment consists of two parchment folia from a gradual (or composite Mass book) containing chants for Epiphany, Nativity, and the feast of St. Stephen. Written in a late Caroline minuscule hand and datable to the 11th–12th century, the leaves are trimmed from their original bifolia but retain text and music in relatively good condition. Decoration is confined to simple red highlighting of initials and sparse rubrication. The adiastematic neumes were possibly applied in two distinct phases.
