Summary
The fragment is currently bound together with a fragment of a 15th-century theological treatise, HS.3088/2, which was originally pasted onto this fragment and which still carries the offset traces of the text on fol. 1r.
The miniature includes two Benedictine monks in prayer on either side of the cross. Their heads and the inscriptions above their heads are scraped off. The inscription of the figure on the right side of Christ begins with the letters V or W and ends with BAS. The text on the horizontal bar of the cross is faded. The rubrics and text below the miniature and on the other side of the leaf are later additions that date from the second half of the fifteenth century.
