Summary
A collection of excerpts from Latin, predominanlty early Christian authors: Beda Venerabilis, Augustinus Hipponensis, Petrus Chrysologus, Ambrosius, Bonaventura, Wilhelm von Auvergne (Guillelmus Alverniensis), Seneca. Included also is a citation from Heinrich von Langenstein, since 1384 teacher in the newly founded University in Vienna. During the restoration of the host volume in 1928, the leaves were mounted on paper and foliated III and Ia. Their initial function and location within the binding can not be deduce. Indeed, it is uncertain if we are dealing with fragments per se, for the text remained untrimmed, suggesting these might be notes made on originally blank (fly) leaves.
