Summary
This fragment of a gospel book contains the canon tables, whose text has remained incomplete, as well as a single leaf with two otherwise unidentifiable evangelists' portraits. The portraits probably formed part of the same manuscript and could either have preceded or followed the canon tables. At some point the fragment was bound with another gospel book to form what is known as the Codex Eyckensis or the Maaseik Gospel Book. It is now bound separately and is known as Codex Eyckensis A.
