The host volume is a Jesuit manuscript in German, copied in 1631, possibly in Graz, where Jesuit students from Cluj continued their higher education.

It belonged to the Jesuit College of Cluj, and then to its successor, the Roman Catholic high school (stamp: "Rom. Kat. Lyceum Könyvtár Kolozsvártt" (front flyleaf).

Host Volume

Title "USUS, das ist Summarischer Inhaltt der Betrachtungen auff daz gantze Jahr, nach der Societetgewonheit auff alle Tag gerichtet auß dem Newen Testament fürnemblich gezogen. IESUS MARIA MDCXXXI. Omnia ad maiorem Dei gloriam." (f. 2r). Inc: "Ettliche Adiumenta oder mittel zu besserer Verrichtung, so wol der täglichen Betrachtungen, alß auch der Exercitien Unsers Heiligen Vatters Ignatii befürderlich. Das Erste.
