Book Decoration and Musical Notation
Description
Left-hand border on most pages of single-stem rinceaux with scattered flowers and fruit. Decorated initialsm burnished gold on a blue and magenta ground with white tracery.

Origin
Written and decorated in northern France in the second quarter of the fifteenth century.
