Rudolf von Ems: Barlaam und Josaphat
vv. 10746-953, 11370-577

Note on offset to complement Williams-Krapp's description.
General Information
Current Condition
Offsets: There are numerous offsets visible. (Offset = Abklatsch.)
This means we can reconstruct how the leaf was folded when in use as a sleeve holding other documents. Strip (b) was cut and pasted onto the top of (a) before the long edge was folded - hence leaving the top left corner of 1v without any offset.
[NB: strips are labelled as in Williams-Krapp's description.
Top strip = (b)
Larger central strip = (a)
Bottom strip = (c)]
1r: Offset in top right corner of 1r (b) (to the right of the repaired hole): stroke of the ‘g’ and then ‘s’ are particularly visible, 1rb (b) v. 1. (Offset of geloub si.)
1v: Offset to the left of column 1va (a). Offset is of the column immediately next to it: 1va (a), v. 14-29.
Offset above 1va (b), which overlaps the text in part, is of 1va (a), v. 4-11.
Faint offset on numerous parts of 2r (a), presumably from 1v. Also, offset on 2r (b) and (c) from 2r (a).
No offset on 2v.
