History
Central Europe (Transylvania?). St Michael is the patron saint of the Catholic diocese of Transylvania (Alba Iulia).
The host volumewas printed in Basel in 1566. In the late 16th or 17th c. it arrived in Transylvania, where it belonged to a certain "Zach.[arias] Karacsonfalvi" (fol. a2 recto). Karacsonfalva is the village Crăciunel, Co. Harghita. A later note on the same page reads: "Ill[ustri] Coll[egii] R[eformati] Claud[iopolitani]".

The host volume does not have a title page. It starts at fol. a2, where the ownership notes, former shelfmarks, and stamps can be found.
