The first fragment is from the top half of a bifolium, while the second fragment is from the middle. It is unclear whether they are originally from the same bifolium.
The purpose of this collection is unclear, but the two remaining rubrics ('... ad quos prelati precipue tenentur', 'De desiderio primii et fruitione') suggest that the quotations have moral lessons and are ordered thematically. The quotations are taken from both the Old and the New Testament.
