Full border of acanthus and rinceaux in gold and colors with birds and other creatures. Roundel miniature in the outer central margin of recto and verso. Recto: St. Matthew writing, dipping his quill into an inkwell held by an angel; Verso: Magi before Herod enthroned. Dismembered in the 1990s. This leaf offered by Charles Puckett Rare Books, stock number IM-1489, current location unknown.
