Series of fragments from the so-called Junius-Tremellius bible, a Renaissance translation of the Old Testament from Hebrew and Syriac. The twelve pieces, which all belong to the same bifolium, are from the first edition printed in Frankfurt, 1575-79. The fragments are from the third part, published in 1579, specifically the Book of Psalms. The fragments were removed from the binding of RARA Musik L 42 R 129, one of a set of four music booklets. The fragments, together with other paper waste, formed the paste-laminate boards.
