Summary
Bifolium of a missal. The front cover contains the texts for the 1st Sunday of Advent. Stylistically, the initial for the introit ‘Ad te levavi’ is similar to initials from the workshop of Augsburg illuminator Johannes Bämler (1425/30-1503), but is much simpler.
On the back cover are the texts for the Friday in the 4th week of Advent. Based on the choice of pericopes (Epistle: Iac 4,17-5,7; Gospel: Mc 1,2-8), the fragment can be assigned to the diocese of Freising.
Proprium de tempore, Dominica I Adventus: Introitus - Evangelium ; Feria VI Hebdomadae IV Adventus: Lectio (Iac 4,17-5,7), Evangelium (Mc 1,2-8), Vigilia Nativitatis Domini: Introitus: Hodie scietis.
