Summary

Two halves of the first bifolium from a 9th-century manuscript of Aquilinus Iuvencus' Historia evangelica, including sections from the praefatio and a glossary. Repurposed as a spine liner and pastedowns at the front and back of the post-incunabulum CL 6160, an edition of Jodocus Clichtoveus' De bello et pace opusculum, Christianos principes ad sedandos bellorum tumultus et pacem componendam exhortans from 1523.

In addition to a bifolium from a liturgical book used as a cover for the host volume (Frauenfeld, Kantonsbibliothek Thurgau, CL 6160, Cover), the Iuvencus fragments are accompanied by paper pastedowns from a manuscript of Alexander of Hales' Summa Theologica, De expositione articulorum symboli apostolorum (Frauenfeld, Kantonsbibliothek Thurgau, CL 6160, Paper pastedowns).
