Summary
The Latin text is written in a gothic rotunda book hand in two columns in brownish ink.
The recto has a full page border of flowers, putti, angels, in colors and gold, incorporating the arms of Pedro de Montoya, bishop of Osma (d. 1474), and a historiated initial Q showing a bishop in full vestments.
Discusses the observance of "festa quatuor caparum" and "festa duarum caparum", with reference to the Speculator, i.e. William Durandus (d. 1296).
Date from old cataloging. The ms. has no date.
For the identification of the arms as those of Pedro de Montoya, see M. Sánchez Mariana, Bibliófilios españoles: desde los origines hasta los albores del siglo XX, Madrid: Biblioteca Nacíonal, 1993, pp. 152-153; see also Salamanca, Biblioteca General Histórica de la Universidad de Salamanca, Ms 2518, f. 1r. Thanks to Dr. Óscar Lilao Franca for these indications.
