Summary
Two bifolias and a strip contain pope Gregory's VII letters and archbishop of Mainz Siegfried's manifesto (so called Königsberg fragment) from the period of the investiture controversy between the Holy Roman Emperor and the Roman Catholic Pope (1076-1077).
They were discovered at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries in the binding of Nicholas of Lyra's Postilla in Evangelia (former State and University Library in Königsberg, Ms 1316 - currently lost).
