Summary
The fragment is part of the David (1930-) and Marion Adams (née Heatley) (1932–1995) Collection, gifted to the Library in 2011.
Text: The Office for the Dead, at Lauds. The text begins in the final verse of Psalm 62, following to Psalm 66: 2-8, the prayer Eternal Rest and antiphons.
Decoration: Psalm 66 opens with a 2-line initial 'D' painted blue and heightened in white, set against a gold ground, with ivy vines, the leaves painted gold, red and blue, sprouting from it into the margin. There are eight 1-line versals, alternately blue or gold, with pen flourishing in red or black, and line filler bars painted gold and blue or red and blue.
