Summary

This fragment originally belonged to a leaf of a late 14th-century chansonnier, of which two other fragments have been preserved, one in the same collection, as P-2-01090-(Ia), the other in a private collection in Belgium. Together the three fragments transmit most of the text and music notation, which includes three virelais in Ars Nova notation.

Eugeen Schreurs, An Anthology of Music Fragments from the Low Countries (Middle Ages-Renaissance) (Leuven / Peer: Alamire Foundation / Alamire muziekuitgeverij, 1995), p. 24-25 (with colour reproductions of all three fragments).
