Summary

A gothic fragment of the Code of Justinian used as the rear flyleaf for a ca. 1470 manuscript of La forme quon tenoit des tournoys et assemblees au temps du roy Uterpendragon et du roy Artur. Bound in red morocco inlaid with dark green and elaborately tooled in gilt, probably by Padeloup le Jeune, ca. 1720.
