Semi-cursive bookhand, Ashkenazi script with Gothic features (not very pronounced).
Compare to Moses Isserles, glosses to Shulchan Arukh, Choshen Mishpat 107-109; Shulchan Arukh, Orakh Chaiyym 135-137.

The entire width of the original text block was preserved. Dirty but legible. The top of the fragment was lost, leaving the exterior half of the front cardboard cover exposed.

History
The host book had several German owners in the seventeenth century: 'Sum ex Libris Henrici Mülleri Essendiensis Westphaliae 1650' (front pastedown, sub rasura); 'Ex libris Joachimi L†††manni' (title page). Annotations in German on the rear pastedown.
