More about the Current Condition

A bifolium has been detached and repurposed as a spine liner in the host volume. Although not visible, it is likely that the fragment has been cut in two, with each half cut into a comb fragment, pasted onto the front and back boards, to reinforce the spine.

-

The parchment is stained in places and there is evidence of wood worm damage.
