The fragments come from the same manuscript as Cluj, Biblioteca Academiei Române, Fragm. Cod. Lat. 22, and were detached from the same host book.

In 2021, the fragments were detached from the host volume, alongside Fragm. Cod. Lat. 22, and were restored at the National Unity Museum in Alba Iulia.

    The fragment was detached from a volume printed in Cluj in 1597, and may thus be of local provenance, and even of local origin. The book belonged to the Jesuits of Cluj.
