The fragments come from consecutive leaves, probably the middle bifolium of a quire.

More about the Current Condition

The two fragmentary leaves are bound in a codex. Both leaves are formed of two strips that were originally part of the same leaf but five or six lines are missing each time between the top and the bottom fragments. For each original leaf the remaining fragments have been attached using Japanese paper and mounted on paper stubs. The upper and lower margins are largely missing as well.

Remarks

The fragments were used as flyleaves in a copy of Symphorien Champier, <i>Practica nova in medicina</i> kept at Ghent University Library. Found and given to Ghent University Library by its librarian Ferdinand Vanderhaeghen in 1899.
