General Information
Gothic textualis (littera textualis), executed in two columns per page. The script is regular and professional, with rubricated headings. Musical text hand is distinct but integrated with chant notation.
This fragment is a single folio, trimmed along the shoulder side, causing partial loss of text. It preserves chants for the Office of St. Agnes, Virgin Martyr (Induit me Dominus, Quod speravi iam teneo, Pulchra facie sed pulchrior fide, among others), including responsories, verses, and antiphons.
Book Decoration and Musical Notation
Simple red initials mark chant incipits, with rubricated headings. Decoration is limited to red ink initial.
Hufnagel neumes in black ink on four-line staves (tetragrams) with mixed black and red lines. Both C and F clefs are employed; the F line is highlighted in red.
