More about the Current Condition

The fragment consists of two parts (A, B) of the same leaf (fol. [1]). Fol. [1] A is glued to the back, and fol. [1] B to the front board of the host volume. On both sides, part of the fragment is hidden under the leather binding. The distance in terms of text between the last (visible) line of fol. 1[r] A and the first (visible) line of fol. [1]r B suggests that the fragments only cover the front and the back (not the spine); it are two seperate parts of a leaf, instead of one continuous fragment wrapped around the spine of the host volume.
