      Back cover : in the middle of the text (11th line) : Stichera (hymns) martyrika at Κύριε ἐκέκραξα for the Vesper service of the third Friday of Lent.

      The incipit of the first one (legible) - Sticheron (in the 12th & 13th line of the text) : Οἱ Μάρτυρές σου Κύριε, οὐκ ἠρνήσαντό σε, οὐκ ἀπέστησαν | ἀπὸ τῶν ἐντολών σου͘  ταῖς αὐτῶν πρεσβείαις | [ἐλέησον ἡμᾶς]

      Τhe same Stichera (hymns) are also addressed to the Vesper service of the seventh Friday of the Easter Season (before Pentecost).

      (Potentially, these Stichera are addressed also to other services during the cycle of liturgical seasons.)

      Front cover : in the middle of the text (8th line) : Stichera (hymns) aposticha nekrosima by Theophanes Graptus for Matins of the third Saturday of the Lent. 

      Incipit (9th line of the text) : Ἔχων ἀκατάληπτον, [τὴν εἰς ἡμᾶς εὐσπλαγχνίαν,] | καὶ πηγὴν ἀ[κένωτον, θεϊκῆς χρηστότητος] | πολυέλεε, [τοὺς πρὸς σὲ Δέσποτα]  

      Τhe same Stichera (hymns) are also addressed to the Matins service of the seventh Saturday of the Easter Season (before Pentecost).

      This part of aposticha nekrosima is also addressed to the funeral service of a monk (Officium funeris Monachorum – Ἀκολουθία τοῦ ἐξοδιαστικοῦ τῶν μοναχῶν) and potentially in other services during the cycle of liturgical seasons.

      Additional information about the time that these Stichera are sung : These Stichera are sung on Saturday before the third Sunday of Great and Holy Lent, that the Orthodox Church commemorates the Precious and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Services include a special veneration of the Cross, which prepares the faithful for the commemoration of the Crucifixion during Holy Week.
