The fragment is written in a northern gothica textualis.
Original Condition
The original height is estimated with the procedure of J.P. Gumbert’s statistical research on page dimensions of manuscripts. He has shown that the ratio of height to width generally lies between 0.60 and 0.80. The estimated minimum height is 253 mm.
Current Condition
A horizontal strip with the text of the two columns, but not as wide as the original page.
Book Decoration and Musical Notation
There is barely any decoration visible on the fragment other than some red colour stroking.

The fragment contains parts of chapter 124 on the life of St Augustin. The preserved text corresponds to the edition by Graesse, p. 551 (recto, col. 1: 'primum cognovi ... sicut ibidem'); p. 551-552 (recto, col. 2: '... exarsit ita quod ... sub quaedem ficu'); p. 552 (verso, col. 1: 'amisit. Quo circa ... quo aptior fieret fidei'); p. 553 (verso, col. 4: '-bus dulcedine mirabili ... enim in ecclesia.').
