The strip is bound in a twentieth-century codex. The same codex also contains photographic reproductions of the fragment, an offprint of the article by Paul De Keyser on the fragment, as well as two draft versions of the same article.

      This part of the Rijmbijbel is also known by the title Die wrake van Jerusalem. It is an addition to the Rijmbijbel based off Flavius Josephus' account of the siege and destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans in 70 CE.

Provenance

First owned by Edouard De Keyser; afterwards (around 1947) donated to Ghent University Library.

Remarks

Bought by Edouard De Keyser (then-secretary of the Ghent Association for Collectors and Bibilophiles) at an auction; at this auction, the fragment was part of a mixed lot of manuscripts. Afterwards, Paul De Keyser of the Ghent University Library studied it, and it was then donated to the University Library.
