Much of the upper part of the bifolium has been worn away due to the use as a wrapper.
Book Decoration and Musical Notation
Pen-flourished plain initials with marginal extensions, alternately in blue and red ink (blue initials, red penwork) and red and purple ink (red initials, purple penwork). Plain versals in red and blue ink, red rubrication, red colour stroking.

- Lower cover v: Readings from the Bible, Deuteronomy 11:22-25 and 2 Machabees 1:23-2 (defective).
History
The original manuscript was possibly kept by the parish of St Leonard (Zoutleeuw) in the late 16th and early 17th century, as fragments from the manuscript were used in the binding of several different registers around this time.
