Remarks
The same Middle Dutch translation of the testament of St Francis can be found in a manuscript with other Middle Dutch Franciscan treatises kept at Leiden University Library (LTK 264, fol. 101-103).
History
Fragment has two later-added annotations: 'd[it] sijn outaercleen ende ander versceijden dinghen der [xxx] toebehorende' (fol. [1]r); and 'Memorie vande Jaergetijden die In onse kercke gedaen moeten worden' (fol. [2]v, upside down). Through these annotations, it can be assumed that the fragment was used as a cover for church-related summaries.
