History
The rhombic notation may suggest a Bohemian origin. The host volume was printed in Leipzig.
Saxony/Bohemia? The host volume has the following ownership notes on the title page: "Ex libris <s.r. Andreae? W. Bogati? 1627>"; "Georgii Cunradi". In the 19th c. the host volume was in Blaj, Co. Alba, and belonged to "N. Moldovanu in Blasiu" (stamp, title page). Before 1948 the book belonged to the Central Library of Blaj ("Biblioteca Centrală Blaj", stamp on title page).
Host Volume
The book was not rebound after the fragment was extracted; it is currently being kept in a custom-made box.
